Itinerary
Day 1 – Myrtle Beach, SC – Dinner Show
Arrive today in Myrtle Beach, SC where you enjoy four nights of oceanfront lodging.
Tonight, you have your choice of Dinners Shows. Choose one of the following: Pirates Voyage, Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament, Polynesian Luau & Fire Dinner Show, Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre at House of Blues, Riga-Tony’s Murder Mystery Dinner Show, or Murder At The Cotton Club: a Whodunnit Murder Mystery Dinner Show at Asher Theatre. - The Pirate’s Voyage Dinner & Show – This is Dolly Parton’s interactive and entertaining dinner show. You receive a savory Pirate meal while watching swashbuckling buccaneers battling it out on the high seas.
- Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament – Here you travel back in time to the 11th century. Serfs and Wenches keep the feast moving as Knights joust on horseback to win the attention and favor of the royal princess.
- Polynesian Luau and Fire Dinner Show – Get fired up for this authentic Polynesian luau and fire dinner show performed at St. John’s Inn within Caravelle Resort by a Samoan family that stems from the Polynesian village of Nu’uuli on the island of Tutuila in American Samoa. Witness native dance, warrior chants, live music, beautiful hula dancing, fire poi, and Samoan fire dancer stunts combine for one unforgettable night. On top of that, you’ll be treated to a delicious Oahu luau-style buffet dinner.
- Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre at House of Blues – Sit down in front of a three-course, Southern-inspired meal, while an interactive “who dunnnit?” murder-comedy plays out before you at House of Blues’ new Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre at Barefoot Landing. Everyone is a suspect, and the guest who solves the crime may be rewarded.
- Riga-Tony’s Murder Mystery Dinner Show – You’ll come hungry and leave full of a delicious dinner of traditional lasagane Napoletana… and a taste for murder. The venue’s experience includes a few comical crimes performed that guests will have to solve. The dinner entrée is preceded by a fresh salad and closed with a creamy Italian dessert.
- MOTOWN ’59: Myrtle Beach’s Ultimate Show and Dinner at Asher Theatre – Come experience Myrtle Beach’s hottest new Motown Tribute Show – Motown ’59 The Show & Dinner featuring songs of The Temptations, The Four Tops, Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, Marvin Gaye, The Jacksons and more. This amazingly talented group will be singing the songs that we all know and love including the hits and classics from the 60’s – 90’s. Come to hear the sound that changed America and see Motown at its best at The Asher Theatre.
Day 2 – Morning for Beach – Afternoon at Broadway at the Beach – Carolina Opry Show
Enjoy a leisurely morning today for the Beach.
Then head to Broadway at the Beach this afternoon for free time, lunch on your own and shopping. Uncover shopping treasures galore as you stroll the exciting world of Broadway. This colorful, relaxed and enjoyable experience features one-of-a-kind shops and boutiques as well as nationally recognized names like Victoria’s Secret, Savannah Bee Company, Southern Living Store and more. You may want to stop into Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen where on the first floor you can shop for cookbooks, recipe mixes, home accessories and gifts. Or do a little browsing at Southern Living Store, A Silver Shack, Earthbound Trading Co., and many more.
Dinner is included this evening at a local restaurant. Following dinner, enjoy a performance at The Carolina Opry. This variety show features a cast of 36 of the nation’s top singers, dancers, comedians and musicians in its own 2200-seat show palace with state-of-the-art sound and lighting and three giant video screens. The show, which is continually updated with new music and comedy, is two hours of high energy entertainment that blends humor and dancing with everything from rock ‘n roll, Broadway and country to classic hits, pop melodies and gospel. Day 3 – Free Morning – Afternoon at Barefoot Landing – Duplin Winery Tasting – Greg Rowles Legacy Show
Enjoy another free morning for the beach or sightseeing on your own.
The afternoon will feature shopping and lunch on your own at Barefoot Landing. You will find national retail shops, quaint boutiques, an impressive selection of restaurants and eateries. Unique shops such as: Tiki Jim’s, the Okive Shoppe, Tassa Cabana, The Mole Hole, Dixie Outfitters, Christmas Mouse and Crabby Jack’s General Store to name a few.
Also included today is a Wine Tasting at the Duplin Winery. Duplin are the makers of America’s favorite Muscadine wine. The tasting allows you to sample up to 10 wines on the tasting sheet and enjoy delicious gourmet crackers and dip. Plus, you get to keep your Duplin wine glass and have a serving of wine afterwards from the tasting sheet.
Dinner is included this evening at a local restaurant followed by a show at the Greg Rowles Legacy Theatre. Tonight, you’ll experience a two-act variety show with a blend of so many genres from country to crooners, to classic rock, beach music and sing-along favorites. Greg is joined on stage by legendary Myrtle Beach entertainers Chris and Jason Cox, as well as Cyndi Wheeler for The Legacy Show. Kenny Duncan will lead the Legacy Band of incomparable musicians through a cavalcade of live music that will transport you to a place and time and even some fun comedy and musical surprises along the way. Added touch of fun… you, the audience, get the opportunity to request songs for each show, so no two shows will ever be the same! (B,D)
Day 4 – Myrtle Beach History Trolley Tour – Free Time at Market Commons – Myrtle Beach Boardwalk – Evening Show
This morning, enjoy a Myrtle Beach History, Movies and Music Trolley Tour. Hear the story of Myrtle Beach’s coming of age in the mid-20th century to present day, the movies that were made or premiered there, and the role that Myrtle Beach played in music history. Stops include the new Historic District and a Green Book listing, The Fitzgerald Motel at Charlie’s Place Historic Site.
Next, enjoy free time and lunch on your own at Market Commons. Explore a wide selection of shops, restaurants, and entertainment in an inviting atmosphere with lovely landscaping, music-filled streets, ample seating areas, fountains, and a playground.
The afternoon features more free time for the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. The Boardwalk is 1.2 miles long and provides oceanfront views of the pristine beach line, numerous shops and restaurants along its path, and is divided into two different sections. The first section is all about visitors enjoying the serene, natural environment, while the second is all about high intensity fun with beachfront shops, restaurants and the iconic SkyWheel Myrtle Beach standing 187 feet tall. Plus, make sure to stop at the historic gift shop, the Gay Dolphin Gift Cove. The shop dates to the 1940s and today stands several stories high, stocked with souvenirs, ornaments, jewelry, shark’s teeth, shells, apparel, home décor, and more and is truly an unforgettable shopping experience.
